Kettering Council & St Peters Councillors help us with Funding

We have had some good news this month with Kettering Borough Council approving a £2500 Grant from their Infrastructure Fund and Councillor Mary Malin of St Peters Ward assisting with £400 from the Ward Initiative Funding that local councillors can use to assist Community Projects with the potential for some further support.

In addition the club were joined by around 50 supporters at the1st Annual Quiz night and around £250 was raised on the night.

The funds were essential as HMRC have applied VAT to our build and now the funds are in place we can fully finish off our Pavillion project after much hard work. The plans are that the Windows, Shutters and Doors can now be installed and finish the building before winter.

On the pitch the season has began with some tough games but we ran out good winners this last weekend against a strong Irchester Team 7-3 and we pushed last seasons Champions Corby Kingswood Kestrels all the way in a 3-3 thriller away at Abingdon Road earlier in the month.
