Hawks had a great evening at the 2018 Kettering Sports Award held at Wicksteed Park.
The Awards celebrate the great work that goes on in Grassroots Sport in Kettering and this year Hawks were again runners up in the Community Club of the Year Category.
But the biggest success of the year came as our coach Adam Doughty picked up the prestigious winners award for Young leader of the Year as well as getting a runner up in the young sportsman category.
Adam will represent the club at the County Awards taking place in November.
With Adam being away at University in Durham after his academic success several of the Hawks Players, Coaching Staff and Mini Hawks were there to accept the awards on behalf of the club and Adam. It was a great night.
This is a huge achievement and is as a result of 4 years of hard work by Adam at the club and he has been rightly recognised.
As well as coaching for the last few years, Adam has been invaluable in his support to the club helping establish the Mini Hawks section.
Adam also undertook a huge amount of work in the summer drought working tirelessly on the pitch and co-ordinating the work schedules and deliveries of soil to get us ready to play in September.
